Self-image is a powerful concept, and one that is discussed at length in Maxwell Maltz’sPsycho-Cybernetics. Essentially, once you’ve established this idea of yourself, who you are and what you can or cannot achieve, you keep yourself on track to fulfilling this self-image. You kind of go on autopilot and don’t stretch those limits because this is what you believe for yourself. Those beliefs then become self-fulfilling prophecies, and become your reality. Even if you start out-performing your self-image, and achieving higher than you had imagined at the time you projected that image of yourself, unconsciously, you end up sabotaging it. Because it doesn’t fit the realm of your original self-image.

Self-confidence is a beautiful thing but can be mistaken for ego or arrogance, which are negative counter parts of self-confidence. What I’m talking about is the calm self-confidence, the driving strength that makes you live on-purpose and achieve your goals. Ever thought yoga was for the weak? Ella Cojocaru will change your mind! I found yoga, and subsequently Ella, when I was looking for an alternative workout for my slightly damaged body. Not only did yoga challenge me, it reversed my joint damage and had so many physical benefits I wouldn’t have fathomed. The real clincher for me was the spiritual and psychological benefits. Yoga keeps you present, fully aware, and clears the monkey chatter from the mind. I hold yoga instructors in high regard, and Ella is one of the best teachers on the planet.

Confidence is something I have found through adversity in my life. It’s not something that came naturally to me at all. I had to work really hard at it. I believe if we make certain mental shifts we can begin to transform our experience of life and the results we receive in all areas – relationships, finances, health, whatever. We can transform it, and as soon as we get on track, these things begin to transform quite quickly.

26. HOW TO ATTRACT ABUNDANCE WHILE ON A SPIRITUAL PATH

‘Spiritual path’ can mean a million different things to people; it’s up to you to interpret what that means to you. For me it means what you’re doing and the difference it’s making. 29. A SIMPLE GUIDE FOR UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE

Ever been baffled by other people’s reactions because you can’t understand where they’re coming from? Even though you saw the exact same event as they did? That’s because no two people see the exact same thing. We see life through filters based on our life experience, and there are philosophical differences we use to judge life on an unconscious level.

31. DEVELOP YOUR POWER OF FOCUS

I’ve been developing my power of focus for a while now. And when I get into the laser focus zone, it’s the only thing that exists for me. In my mind, as I’m working on it, it is vivid and real, it’s like I can touch it and taste it.

32. THE POWER OF AUTHENTICITY AND VULNERABILITY WITH DR PATRICK WILLIAMS

Today we were joined live by internationally acclaimed coach, speaker and author, Dr Patrick Williams, to discuss the power of authenticity and vulnerability at the right time.

What I’ve discovered in my life is there is a depth of power in vulnerability that is amazing. Authentic communication is something we talk about frequently on MindPower and in our trainings, so this is definitely a topic that is synergistic with Dr Pat’s brand new book Getting Naked: on being emotionally transparent at the right time, right place, with the right person.

33. THREE ACTIONS STEPS TO CHANGE THOSE LIMITING BELIEFS (ONCE AND OR ALL!)

Limiting beliefs are an interesting thing – a lot of people talking about it, whether in the personal development field or not, but this doesn’t affect a persons ability to be able to change those limiting beliefs. Whether you’re on the self improvement train or not, this is an important lesson to learn if you want to change your life circumstances.

Since I’ve been involved with personal development, and implemented it in my daily actions, life has been a different experience and what I’m going to share with you today, plays a huge part in what began a chain reaction of events for me that led me to live this extraordinary life.

34. ONE STEP SO SELF-MASTERY

Albert Einstein describes it as “everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is no philosophy. This is physics.”

We think we see what reality is. But we don’t. We’re seeing a channel. Our mind is the TV. The vibration we’re at determines the channel we tune in to. You can actually prove this. Do you know someone who is perpetually pissed off? Everything is a problem? Everything is a misstep and it was all done specifically to them just to piss them off. When in reality, this is their interpretation of events happening around them. That is the station they’re tuning in to.

35. SUCCESS KILLER

So what is this four-letter word that can stop us all from achieving massive success? H. A. R. D.

The belief that things are too hard is a sub-conscious mind fixation – and one of my goals is to illuminate what the unconscious mind is and get some control over it. This includes becoming aware of the limiting beliefs we bank below the level of conscious awareness.

36. TO TRUST OR NOT TO TRUST

Find out how to trust, when to trust, what or who to trust and most importantly, why to trust.

Trust is the glue of life. It’s the most essential ingredient in effective communication. We may have had our hearts broken, and had our trust crushed in the past, but the key is to move forward with an open heart and trust anyway.

37. SURE-FIRE NEW YEARS RESOLUTION STRATEGY

Goal setting is close to my heart – I’ve created a lot of positive things and the exact lifestyle I’ve always wanted. But only 8% of people who set new years resolution achieve them.

There’s something successful people do differently than the rest of the 92% population. I’m going to share my tips with you.

I went from being a person who set goals and never achieved them. Ever. But then, I went from a person who was a struggler to an achiever. How do you make that shift? Regardless of your goal, the strategy is the same. Whether it is health and fitness, or relationships, how do you actually get in there and make a difference?

You have to go from ‘have, do, be’ to ‘be, do, have’.
